ONE-CLICK PREORDER CAPTURE

Start on the live product page.

Drag the green button to the bookmarks bar. On a public preorder page, choose it to carry the clean source URL and standard merchant, price, and currency metadata into a reviewable receipt form.

Capture this preorder No extension, customer account, or page-content upload.

Review before sealing: public metadata can be missing or wrong. OfferChecksum validates imported formats but does not assume that a product page is authoritative. Confirm every value, add the exact preorder promise, and never enter a customer name, email, address, card number, or secret.

Why this is separate from the normal payment receipt.

Shopify documents that preorders may collect full, partial, or no payment when the order is placed, and advises merchants to inform customers when fulfillment is extended. WooCommerce documents availability dates, upfront or later charging, release-date changes, cancellation, and customer notifications. Those workflows preserve the order state; OfferChecksum preserves the compact commercial promise that accompanied it.

OfferChecksum does not prove that a merchant had authority, that the customer consented, or that the promise was performed. It proves whether the stored public record still matches the SHA-256 fingerprint created with it.
