BLANK WRITING TEMPLATE · PRIVATE IN YOUR BROWSER

Write the custom-order promise before the deposit moves.

Copy one compact template for a commission, made-to-order product, or custom service. Replace every bracket with the exact public commercial wording both sides can review.

COPYABLE CUSTOM-ORDER TERMS

Nothing is assumed.

Every bracket is deliberately blank. The template does not decide whether a deposit is refundable, when delivery starts, or what cancellation should allow.

PRACTICAL BOUNDARIES

A short template is useful only when its limits are visible.

Does this create a contract or receipt?

No. It is a blank writing aid. Copying it creates no account, upload, agreement, payment, or public receipt.

Should the deposit and remaining balance equal the total?

If they describe the whole stated price, the two amounts should reconcile exactly to that total. Record later extras or scope changes separately.

What is an observable balance trigger?

Use an event both sides can identify, such as final-proof approval, production start, dispatch, delivery, or a fixed public date. Avoid “later” or “when complete” without a shared definition.

What should not be put in a public receipt?

Do not include a customer name, email, address, card data, private invoice link, secret, or confidential information. Keep ordinary private order and payment records separately.
